There is this saying that two good heads are better than one. In this case, that saying proves right. You wanna know why? Keep reading, you’d find out soon.

Banelings are a special Zerg unit. They are otherwise referred to as living or walking bombs. Their sole purpose of creation is to annihilate as much enemy settlements as possible in one great blast! These Banelings are mutant specie of the Zergling units in which their morphing process requires the use of a Banelings nest.

Banelings are endowed with a special ability to be able to detonate while being burrowed. This unique feature is very useful when setting up surprise ambushes for enemy units. All that is required is to burrow the Banelings along paths which the enemy is suspected to pass. When the enemy force aggregates over such burrowed locations, the Banelings could then be detonated. An interesting feature about the Banelings is that they detonate with a splash and this ensures that the explosion covers a wide area and destroys every object within its radius.

When orchestrating a Baneling Rush, it is important to first of all scout for the enemy’s base before the morphing process is through. The Banelings are then used to take out the enemy base walls and other important structures thereby leaving the enemy camp vulnerable to attack from other Zerg attack units.

The Roaches on the other hand are specially adapted armored Zerg units which possess the unique ability of rapid self healing. It is also capable of burrowing as well. They are somewhat similar to Banelings in terms of their actions. However, an added advantage the Roaches have over the Baneling is that while burrowed, the roaches are still capable of moving around.

Roaches are known to possess some kind of acidic secretion which is capable of eating though Neosteel. This serves a very vital function in the event of a Roach Rush. Since the roaches are capable of moving under burrows, a tactical combination of Banelings and Roaches pretty much makes for a deadly duo.

Imagine combining a Baneling Rush and a Roach Rush together in one really crazy combo rush! That’s my favorite opening move. Here’s how it works:

•	First of all, units of Banelings and Roaches should be produced.
•	Next, at the onset of the attack, the Banelings are sent into the enemy camp after adequate scouting must have been carried out. These Banelings are targeted at important buildings and structures like the barracks, supply depot etc.
•	After these structures have been taken out, then it would be time for the burrowed Roaches to move in. These units are directed at the other enemy units.

In all this, it is important to remember that it is always necessary to provide adequate support (aerial/ground) for these ground units (Banelings and Roaches) because you never really can tell what kind of resistance will be met. So it would really pay so much to take precaution in order to avoid any unforeseen and unpleasant surprises.

This Impressive Zerg ground Unit
evolved from the Brontoliths. The Ultralisk is a gigantic and fearsome beast
and definitely not a sight for the faint hearted. With a length of 20 meters
and a height of 5 meters, these highly intimidating creatures assume the
position of live tanks in the Zerg hall of fame.

Structurally, the Ultralisk cuts
across a picture of raw brutish force.
With enormous mono-molecular edged mandibles, the Ultralisk is capable
of tearing through any kind of ground unit. With almost indestructible scythes
(otherwise called Kaiser Blades) protruding from behind, a single blow from
these creatures carries 400 hit points and a base damage of 20. They best serve
the Zerg attack force at the front line because of their insane ability to
absorb intense firepower from enemy attack units.

It has been said that the
Ultralisks have been around for a long while now and their present
appearance/structure is an attestation to the ingenuity of endless genetic
meddling. In some quarters, Ultralisks have been sighted with 4 Kaiser Blades
as against the rudimentary 2 Kaiser Blades which we are accustomed to. Included
in the evolutionary trend, was the development of an extra-fortified
exo-skeleton.

Among the “obvious” advantages of
having an Ultralisk unit in your Zerg ground force is the issue of
psychological warfare. Springing out an Ultralisk in a mid or late game can throw
your opponent into a state of confusion. This reaction owes to the fact that
the Ultralisk is a marauding battering beast which has no regard for ground
obstacles. Interestingly, it also causes a lot of distraction to your opponent
when it is sighted; as all attention switches to them and all hands on deck
working on possible ways of cutting them down in their prime before they begin
to wreck havoc. This of course, will be a top priority thought process. But,
this strategy is actually cunningly designed in such a manner as to enable the
other supporting units (ground/air) to capitalize on this to strike which
usually deals a greater amount of damage.

A marked pitfall of this great
and awesome Zerg ground unit is the fact that it is completely and painfully
vulnerable to air strikes. Also, due to its enormous size, the Ultralisk is the
only Zerg ground unit which cannot burrow when it has attained the level to do
so. Yet another drawback concerning the Ultralisk on account of its size, is
the toll it has taken on its speed. The Ultralisk is pretty slow in movement.
Even though through the necessary upgrades it can be morphed into a faster
evolved state (Anabolic Synthesis), it still will not be as impressively fast
as would be desired of such a mass or brute force. Furthermore, in the event
where the attack force is trying to pass through narrow channels and bottle
neck points, the Ultralisk could be a very enormous disadvantage to the general
progress of the attack team because they could actually get stuck somewhere
along the line and cause a terrible hold-up which could pose a serious security
threat.

In summary, with the proper
aerial cover from some Hydralisk air units, the Ultralisk ground unit will
batter and smash their way to victory on the starcraft 2 battle field.

The Brood Lord as its name
implies is truly the Lord of the Skies! With its highly intimidating structure
and size, the Brood Lord easily out classes all other fellow Zerg aerial units.
It is known for its hideously massive appearance and its devilishly sinister
penchant for unleashing its little blood thirsty broodlings to devour enemy
targets. Shortly after your commander
has added a greater spire to his base, the corruptors are transformed into
brood lords. This is how they are created as it costs about 150 minerals, 150
gases and taking approximately 34 seconds for this transformation to take
place.

Brood Lords are best used against
ground units. Each Brood Lord is capable of producing 2 Broodlings at a time.
It is interesting to note here that, the Brood Lord is capable of long range
siege attacks with respect to its released Broodlings. These Broodlings are
actually biological weapons because they are living creatures which are
released with only 1 instruction – FIGHT TILL THE DEATH!!! That’s the ultimate
weapon if you ask me! What makes the Brood Lord a really formidable Zerg unit
is the fact that these Broodlings are not only releasable from long range, they
are also reproduced as soon as the first set have been destroyed, thus keeping
up the battle’s tempo. Amazingly, anytime a Zerg installation gets nicked,
Broodlings appear. This could be seen as a consolatory measure for you if you
are on the losing side and a bit of frustration for your opponent who will have
to contend with these creatures anytime he destroys any Zerg building! How cool
is that?

A worthy replacement for the
Guardian in the previous edition of Starcraft, the Brood Lord will easily wreck
instantaneous havoc on enemy installations.
But then again, providence has ensured that there isn’t a unit that can
boast of having it all. The story is so true for the Brood Lord. Fierce and as
terrifying as it is, the Brood Lord is still with its own shortcomings.

The Brood Lord lacks the
capability of attacking air units. As a result of this, it is very important to
provide air support for the Brood Lord while it is in the process of devouring
the ground units. Also, due to its monstrous size, the Brood Lord is a slow
moving creature. It cannot be quickly called into a conflict and it certainly
cannot quickly flee from a scene of woe. This can make things really
uncomfortable for the Zergs, because without air support for the Brood Lord, it
is as good as dead in the hands of other enemy aerial units.

Conclusively, Brood Lords are not
the very easy-to-use kind of Zerg units, but with the right proportion of other
supporting Zerg units, the Brood Lord is capable of totally annihilating
whatever ground unit forces that may come its way.

Starcraft 2 with the Hydralisk! To me, it’s a very good
combination. Do you mind asking me why?
Yes, I’d tell you. For me, I love using the hydralisk because they are
known to be among the most ruthless and feared members of the Zerg clan. In
fact, they are so dangerous that it is often said that the upper section of
their exoskeleton is a trap door for dozens of deadly projectiles which when
released, travels with such a momentum enough to pierce a 0.2 meter thick
neosteel armor.

In appearance, the Hydralisk is a
really scary sight. It looks more like a giant caterpillar encased in armor
with lots of drool dribbling down its great jaws. It is rumoured that the
Hydralisk was the product of some sinister experiment on evolution and that it
was formally an herbivore known as Slothien.

With all the dark and ugly
history notwithstanding, the Hydralisk remains a prized possession in the Zerg camp
base. Its multi-faced battle-minded attack orientation makes it such a valuable
asset in the Zerg clan. The versatility of the Hydralisk cannot be called into
question as it is known to be capable of warding off aerial attacks as well as
ground attacks. Its advantages and usefulness in battle is better experienced
than spoken of.

A peculiar feature of the Hydralisk is the fact that even in the midst
of a battle; the Hydralisk could regenerate their health! This is possible
because of the capability they possess for burrowing. When they are burrowed,
they become hidden from the enemy. When you really consider it, burrowing could
actually serve three (3) different purposes; burrowing to regenerate health,
burrowing to turn the Hydralisks into temporary spies or scouts and also in an
offensive, burrowing could actually be used to lay an ambush for the enemy
either through a surprise attack on a non-suspecting advancing army or a real
ambush where the Hydralisks remain hidden until the enemy passes and then they
turn around to spring on them from the rear.

In addition, the upgrade
available for the Hydralisk enables it to exhibit some really unique
capabilities. Among these includes: the ability to burrow and quick health
regeneration. It is also interesting to note that the Hydralisk costs
reasonably low to produce and they have a rather short production time so this
means that it is quite plausible to turn out these Zerg units in mass in the
shortest possible time. Another great feature about these Zergs is the fact
that there is no limitation on the numbers that can be produced. The only
requirement necessary to keep the production of the Hydralisk is to build as
many hatcheries as possible when the opportunity arises.

The
Hydralisk no matter how wonderful they may seem, cannot be without their own
faults. The down side of having the Hydralisk in your combat retinue is that
they are really slow in movement on plain terrains. Also, it’s important to take note that Hydralisk
fares better in the company of other Zerg units like the Dark Swarm, Mutalisks
etc. Producing too much of them alone will actually turn out to be
counter-productive in the long run because there are some enemy units like the
Terran Siege tanks which are capable of wiping them out even from a distance.

Have you ever wondered how your
enemy decodes your next line of action without being seen? The ghost, a Terran
unit in the Starcraft 2 game is one of the factors responsible. It is quite rather
expensive but it possesses rare features on display during combat.

It is a not-too-strong unit but
is very reliable as it possesses both a good punching and sound sniper ability.
It has the ability to expose cloaked opponents and can suck up energies of enemies
in combat. The ghost can also take care of damages on itself to a very good
extent, with the EMP Round. The ghost can destabilize one of the main opponents
units called the high templar by draining its energy. Continuous use of this
ability could win games for you without much work done.

The ghost has both defensive
mechanisms and abilities as it could cloak behind other units and be invisible
to the enemies. The ghost is micro-intensive. This means that the ghost needs a
whole lot of micro to ensure a win. Another vital issue people overlook is the
issue of setting up the Terran ghost on one hotkey. This grants you a quick
access to your Terran ghost Starcraft 2 control group’s key just in case you
want to strike or release a nuke.

Starcraft is a game everyone
loves to play. In order to play this game well, you have to know a few things
about this game and they are:

1.
Realizing
the Starcraft ghost build hierarchy.

It is good to build a formidable army in terms of number. Work hard to
get a supply depot from at least ten supplies. Then, you can work on building a
barrack with a tech lab when your supply is at twelve. As the supplies increase
from 13, way up to 15, you construct a refinery and an orbital command and then
reproduce your building again as your supplies increase.

2. The rush or attack.

When planning an attack on the
enemy, a move with some of your marines and Medivacs would be best. Also,
acquainting oneself with the nuking strategies goes a long way to help. Bring
your ghost to the field of play by cloaking him and try moving into your enemy
territory. This makes your enemy unaware of where you plan to strike. Use the
nuke to destroy important sites in your enemy ground in order to destabilize
them. One thing you must always do – Keep your ghost behind mineral line around
the enemy baseline and afford yourself a nice opportunity of protecting your
ghost from being seen. You should also
make certain that on detonating the nukes, you take in the rest of your team
inside to finish the enemies.

Understanding the mode of
operation of each unit is a vital key in combat. For example, the stalkers and
the marauders strictly stay away from fight. Therefore when you notice the
presence of these units, you have to consider your actions well as the enemy
has a reason for their own actions. The weakness and strength of each unit is a
must-know in order to be a pro in the Starcraft 2 game.

Above all, Terrans are very easy
to learn as their terminologies such as factory, marines, starport, etc., are
quite easy to comprehend.

Are you a die-hard Terran
strategist? Have you been looking for ways to annihilate your enemy? Then, the
full knowledge of the Reapers which is yet another group in the Terran clan is
not something you’d want to play with. The Reapers are extremely fast and are
able to chart their own travel routes. Because of this unique feature, they
possess the ability to transverse the terrains in any manner they so choose. By
being able to overcome obstacles in their path of movement (e.g. cliffs)
through the art of jumping, they have somehow endeared themselves in the heart
of Terran Strategists.

But of what use is this ability
that the reapers possess in a broad scheme of events you may ask?

I’ll tell you this – The Reapers
feature a rare talent which is harnessed when there is a need to initiate an
early surprise rush. This rush serves to destabilize the opponent’s game plan
by attacking the mineral resources which in turn cripples his/her game play.
This activity is known as the Reaper Rush.

At first glance, Reapers don’t
really look as formidable as the rest of the Terran clan. Left alone to its own
devices, Reapers are almost useless in appearance – little or no armor, light
weight, low hp and they get wasted easily. However, in the right hands, Reapers
could also turn out to be every inch as lethal as the rest of the clan!

The processes involved in setting
up an effective Reaper Rush are outlined as follows:

·
First of all, before anything is done, it is
very necessary to scout the enemy camp to ascertain their true location. This
scouting is done with the use of an SCV. This is essential because it saves
time and provides a platform for pinpoint accuracy in the strike.

·
A second important point to note is that it is
always necessary to fortify your base camp against reprisal or counter attacks.
This fortification should be in the form of a barricade made up of a
combination of both your supply depot and your barracks which should be built
right close to the ramp. You follow this simple instruction; your base will be
secured.

In preparing your assault team
for a Reaper Rush, it is also important to ensure that the right foundation is
laid from the onset. This is known as the build order. The build order for a
perfect Reaper Rush entails that you first of all build a barracks and attach a
built tech lab to the barracks. The next move is to build a refinery which will
be supplying the tech lab with gas. It is also advisable to build your supply
depot before the completion of the tech lab so as to ensure that the Reapers
are quickly produced.

Have you heard the word –Nightmare before now? A formidable member of the Terran Team, the battlecruiserwhich belongs to the air unit is one nightmare you’d hope never to meet on theside of your enemy. The starcraft 2 battlecruiser has come a long way from whatit was in starcraft 1. With massively upgraded weapons systems and armors, thebattlecruiser has now become more or less the nightmare of the skies!

Among the upgrades noticed in thisstarcraft 2 version, is the single laser cannon which has been replaced with amassive 4 laser cannon array which automatically implies that the battlecruiseris now at least 4 times as lethal as it was before. Also, some attention waspaid to its armor. Yes, the battlecruiser is now encased in a fortified coat ofneo-steel which affords it the luxury of absorbing unusual quotas ofdamage. However, spate of recent modificationscomes with its own price as the battlecruiser is now much slower than it usedto be. In addition, it costs a real fortune to come by.

An interesting upgrade availablefor the battlecruiser is the Yamato Cannon upgrade. Hook this up and you willhave one nasty piece of work in the skies! This weapon upgrade somehowtransforms a nuclear explosion into a unified energy ray. Although therequirements needed to organize a laser cannon show are energy sapping, theeffects of the blow out are simply stunning! Another upgrade available is theplasma torpedoes. With these laser torpedoes, the battlecruiser exhibits anuncanny fiery temperament which is capable of unleashing chaos and massdestruction. Again, like the Yamato Cannon upgrade, it requires a huge amountof energy to instigate a plasma torpedo attack. Yet, another upgrade for thebattlecruiser is the Behemoth Reactor which gives the battlecruiser added bonusenergy of 25 when it is starting. Now, considering the fact that the YamatoCannon uses 125 energy to get started, it therefore means that with the BehemothReactor, the Yamato Cannon would be ready for use 45 seconds earlier thannormal. These 45 seconds could actually represent the thin line between lifeand death on the battlefield.

The battlecruiser is also able todefend itself against both aerial and ground provocations. It could serve inthe capacity of a battle flagship or a more sinister role as a mega heavyweight offensive unit. I guess the greatest achievable feat made by thebattlecruiser is the fact that it actually doesn’t have a matching nemesis fromthe opposition. The feeble efforts of the other anti-air units are laughablewhen compared to the battlecruiser. However, under a sustained attack fromother air units, the battlecruiser will cave in. So, it is important to alwaysprotect the battlecruiser with a couple of ravens and vikings.

So what do you do when yourbattlecruiser comes under some massive artillery fire? Remember, it is a veryexpensive piece of equipment. Losing your battlecruiser could really be a bigdeal! So, if your battlecruiser gets badly hit and is damaged, a great advicewould be to retreat from the scene of battle and fix up the damages using SCV.

The Raven is a unit under the terran species. Unlike their other counterparts, they do not have the ability to directly take out enemy targets. They are more like a support unit under the terran race. However, they do posses a unique capability. Their own strength lies in the ability to reveal masked enemy units, position turrets and intercept missiles.

They best function as support for the overall defense of your terran base, helping to boost the security of your base through their unique functionalities. With the raven, no enemy can approach your base without your knowledge; turrets are set up automatically around the camp and surprise attack is eliminated. However, because of its special functions, micro-management is very essential in order to turn them into a very lethal force to contend with.

Let’s proceed to explain in detail how the Raven works:

Setting-Up Turrets: The Raven automatically sets up turrets anywhere specified. Turrets are small sentry towers which have the ability to fire away at any hostile unit which approaches the terran base. 50 energy is required to set these turrets up. When standing on their own, they cannot really create much of an impact because they are weak but they can be quite formidable when they are many in a group. They have a capacity to hit air as well as ground units with an impressive attack range and with stunning accuracy.

Use of Seeker Missiles: The Raven’s major specialty lies in this aspect. The Raven shoots seeker missiles at enemy targets. When a missile is shot at an enemy target, it starts off at normal speed but as soon as it starts getting close to the target, it picks up speed. On impact, the seeker missile will then explode and cause serious damage on enemy targets. If massed ground enemy troops are targeted, the seeker missile will score off maximum casualty upon detonation.

Point Defense Drone: The Raven also possesses a highly specialized defense mechanism called a point defense drone. This drone is purely defensive and is detailed to shoot down any kind of projectile which is being launched against the terran base. Each drone has a capability of eliminating threats as many as 20 before they run out of energy and burn off. In a battle, it would really pay off to send in some point defense drones before you send in your own units. These drones will shoot down any projectile that has been launched against any of your battle units and thereby constituting a kind of defense cover for your other battle units.

The Raven is an integral and highly commendable functional part of the terran. In times past, you would have heard being called The Nighthawk. It was initially designed to protect the outposts on the terran domain which were isolated and this protection was on a low scale. In recent times however, the Raven has been assumed to be even more active as well as its hostile roles within the terran camp.

You can learn the top Starcraft 2 Terran Strategies. Read on if, you have you been dreaming of becoming the next top-ranking Terran player? Do you want to smash your opponent right to their faces? Then, this Terran guide is for you as it seeks to throw more light into the complex nature and form of the Terran species in Starcraft 2. The Terran species take after a human appearance and in a lot of ways bear a kind of similarity to the human race. Perhaps this explains why they are a natural favorite among Starcraft 2 game fans. Among their behavioral attributes, it is indicated in the game that the Terran species possess the ability to rapidly use up the natural resources of a planet.

Also, another reason which makes this Terran guide a much sought after item is the fact that with the Terrans, it is basically much easier to plan and execute game strategies. This is possible as a result of the 3 major types of builds which are common within the Terran ranks and they are:

If you wish to take save hundreds of hours learning how to play Starcraft, and getting good at it, I suggest getting Shokz Guide. You can get to a higher level than you previously thought possible.

The Infantry Build – Incidentally, this build is further subdivided into other kinds of infantry builds. The most popular type of infantry build is a combination of Marines, Medivacs and marauders (MMM). Though it is very effective, it has its own shortcomings! Other strategy modules include assembling en-mass Marines and Marauders. For aerial strategies, it is best to use barracks and reactors together with Marines to produce a more formidable defense strategy.

The Air Build – This strategy is good for full aerial attacks and it is very effective when used as a follow up strategy. Start out with the infantry build strategy and when the enemy sees your approach and sets up tactics to suit your ground attack, you then quickly switch to the air build strategy and finish him off.

The Mech Build – In this strategy, Thors and Siege tanks are used in large quantities. The Thors take out the aerial targets while providing cover for the tanks which are used to take out the ground units of the enemy. However, judging from the capacity of the enemy, you could also include an addition of hellions or Vikings to your retinue.

The secret behind an outstanding successful campaign using the mech build strategy is a lot of patience and a surely slow but steady advancement.
In addition, here are some other general tips which will be beneficial to all Terran players irrespective of their adopted strategy.

Always bear in mind the strong points and weaknesses of all the various races in Starcraft. This is essential because it will be very helpful to know the weaknesses of your opponent before advancement is made on you. This should allow you to prepare adequately to exploit the advantage or beef up security in the aspects of your own weakness.

Micro-management is also very vital. This is a not so easy task to perform but if the art is well mastered, then it would be a beauty to behold.

Conclusively, the Terran guide is an essential part of the larger picture which is fast becoming a legend to be greatly feared and respected for your outstanding achievements in the game.

Siege Tanks have been one of the most dominant Terran units since Starcraft Brood Wars. Now in Starcraft 2, they are still one of the best units. They have the largest range in the game, although, they do not have the longest sight, so you must compensate and use other units, buildings, scouts, or something to extend their sight. This is what makes a walled off Terran so difficult to beat, their Siege Tanks can be nearly unstoppable destroying any units that get too close. Siege Tanks have great Splash damage as well, so if you hit one enemy, expect everything around him to get smashed to pieces. They work great on bunches of units, and on stronger units such as the Protoss Immortals, Zerg Hydralisks, and even the Marines.

If you wish to take save hundreds of hours learning how to play Starcraft, and getting good at it, I suggest getting Shokz Guide. You can get to a higher level than you previously thought possible.

Siege Tanks are called Siege Tanks because you need to research something called Siege mode, which allows the tanks to have far greater range and destructive capability. Siege Tanks are pretty worthless without them. Some things to be cautious about with Siege Tanks are non-ranged units, as Siege Tanks cannot attack units such as Zealots and Zerglings. Other things which the Siege Tanks must watch out for are Air units, but if you properly scout, that will not be an issue. You generally want to mix the Siege Tanks with other units, Helions, or infantry if you wish to use them effectively. Siege Tanks alone can be easily destroyed. Use SCV’s to repair the Siege Tanks as you attack the enemy base.

Some basic strategies for using Siege Tanks would be to always keep a close eye on them, never leave them unattended as they are very expensive, and are such a primary attack force. They have huge weaknesses, such as air units, and non-ranged ground units, but you need to accept those weaknesses. You should also be careful where you place them in Siege mode, being on high ground would be best, and in a location where you can easily hit them, but would be too far for them to hit you would be best. You should use choke points as that is where they must pass to attack you. One of the most important things to note about Siege Tanks is, Always research Siege mode. Without it, Siege Tanks are pretty much worthless.

Siege Tanks are one of the most important ground units for a Terran to have control over, and you must use them wisely and effectively. The main thing to note is that they are expensive so you must micro them very carefully. Keep a close watch on them, always knowing where they are, where the opponent is, Siege Tanks will help your Starcraft game become more alert. You must have siege mode, and carefully place the tanks in the most effective locations, using the Tanks to either block off your base, place them where the opponent will get hurt if they try to enter, or use it to break into the enemies base. Scout so that you do not do something like build tanks, when the opponent is building air units. GL HF.
