 Are you a die-hard Terran
strategist? Have you been looking for ways to annihilate your enemy? Then, the
full knowledge of the Reapers which is yet another group in the Terran clan is
not something you’d want to play with. The Reapers are extremely fast and are
able to chart their own travel routes. Because of this unique feature, they
possess the ability to transverse the terrains in any manner they so choose. By
being able to overcome obstacles in their path of movement (e.g. cliffs)
through the art of jumping, they have somehow endeared themselves in the heart
of Terran Strategists.

But of what use is this ability
that the reapers possess in a broad scheme of events you may ask?

I’ll tell you this – The Reapers
feature a rare talent which is harnessed when there is a need to initiate an
early surprise rush. This rush serves to destabilize the opponent’s game plan
by attacking the mineral resources which in turn cripples his/her game play.
This activity is known as the Reaper Rush.

At first glance, Reapers don’t
really look as formidable as the rest of the Terran clan. Left alone to its own
devices, Reapers are almost useless in appearance – little or no armor, light
weight, low hp and they get wasted easily. However, in the right hands, Reapers
could also turn out to be every inch as lethal as the rest of the clan!

The processes involved in setting
up an effective Reaper Rush are outlined as follows:

First of all, before anything is done, it is
very necessary to scout the enemy camp to ascertain their true location. This

scouting is done with the use of an SCV. This is essential because it saves
time and provides a platform for pinpoint accuracy in the strike.

·         
A second important point to note is that it is
always necessary to fortify your base camp against reprisal or counter attacks.
This fortification should be in the form of a barricade made up of a
combination of both your supply depot and your barracks which should be built
right close to the ramp. You follow this simple instruction; your base will be
secured.

In preparing your assault team
for a Reaper Rush, it is also important to ensure that the right foundation is
laid from the onset. This is known as the build order. The build order for a
perfect Reaper Rush entails that you first of all build a barracks and attach a
built tech lab to the barracks. The next move is to build a refinery which will
be supplying the tech lab with gas. It is also advisable to build your supply
depot before the completion of the tech lab so as to ensure that the Reapers
are quickly produced.
