On my quest for knowledge, new strategies, and overall getting better in Starcraft 2 I decided to check out different guides.  Now normally most people would look at official guides, the type that are written at the bookstore, but the problem with official guides are that they are never really up to date. You see the strategy, and that is it, you never really see how people counter the strategy, or if Blizzard releases an update how that will affect the strategy, there is so much that is left out. Although for single player campaigns, they serve their purpose quite nicely.

Now you must remember, a guide is not necessary to become great at Starcraft 2. The most important thing is simply to play, the more you play the better you will get. What the guide does is reduce your learning curve greatly, you will end up trying things that are known and proven to work, instead of randomly finding out yourself. If you consider your time to be valuable, then getting the guide is a good choice.

Shokz guide was not the first guide that I came upon, but it was certainly the most impressive. At first I was very skeptical at the wild claims that they were making, but I decided I would give it a shot, there is a 60 day Money Back Guarantee!!! What makes the guide so great is that it is very organized. There are different sections for almost everything. You aren’t fumbling through random mess, and it’s not just some ebook that is never updated with the latest or new strategies. Shokz plans on updating this guide, because he will have to Blizzard is going to create expansion packs for Starcraft II.

Beginner Guides – To get you up to speed
Multiplayer Guides – Because sometimes 2v2 is more fun than 1v1 (although you must remember that many of the strategies and basic game playing apply for multiplayer games)

This just honestly covers the surface of what he has. For the value, and considering the time you’ll save trying to get better at the game, this is the best way that I can think of.

Shokz also lets you request certain strategies. Lets say somebody beats you in the game, well how did he beat you, if you have a general idea, e-mail Shokz, he is always open to answering your emails. He never gives you trouble and responds within a matter of hours every time (At least he did for me).

Now he offers one more service which is a premium service. You should only get it if you are actually VERY serious about getting better, and am unsure of how to take it to the next level. You can send Shokz your video replay and he will outline every aspecct of your game, how you should improve it, what ou are doing wrong, how to fix it. After the replay, he allows you to ask him 10 questions that he did not cover or that you need clarification on. The service is available for members, it’s not free but it’s certainly worth getting if you are serious about taking your Starcraft 2 to the next level.
